Our services are free. We never turn away anyone
in need so we rely on the CAS donor family to provide new equipment such as wheelchairs
or help us purchase necessary items. Read how individuals,
businesses, service clubs and foundations have raised funds then decide how you
can get involved.
Families and Friends
Each
year, Ernie and Judy Boehr prepare candles and paper bags filled with sand
to sell in their neighborhood for $1.50 each. More than 1,200 homes participate
in the annual luminaria drive and the money is used to support select community
non-profit organizations, including CAS.
Do you have a creative
idea for raising money? Let us know.
Make CAS a recipient
of your regular giving portfolio through a regular donation, gift of stock or
a bequest from your estate.

wheelchairs, and 21 rollator walkers with seats

Local Businesses
and
Service Clubs
The Sierra Madre Rotary,
along with a sponsored high school service club, held a wheelchair drive that
resulted in a donation of 20 wheelchairs and enough funds to purchase another
10 chairs.
Donating to CAS through cash gifts or donations
of medical equipment helps others maintain a higher quality of life with dignity.
Churches
If you worship
in a local congregation then please refer those in need to CAS.
On
occasion, fellowships will also raise funds.
An example
is Trinity Presbyterian Church in Pasadena who recently donated $200 to
CAS after a Sunday love offering.
Call us if you'd like to
get your fellowship group involved.
