Bobbi Abram, Executive Director of the Pasadena City College Foundation, joined the CAS Board in 2013. She is a recent resident, having moved to California in the summer of 2011. A native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Bobbi lived her adult life in the Kansas City area. With a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC), Abram has had a successful career in non-profit management. She spent 16 years working in higher education at UMKC School of Law and Evangel University with 11 years specifically in fundraising and foundation management in community colleges at Johnson County Community College and Metropolitan Community Colleges. At the national level, she has worked to fund international medical relief, medical research, education and training with the American Academy of Family Physicians, Heart to Heart International and the PKD Foundation. Abram is especially grateful for being able to participate in major efforts to fund relief to the victims of the Asian tsunami and to help rebuild the healthcare system in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
