Message from the CEO:

Updated 4:30pm 03/20/2020

Regarding the Los Angeles County "Safer at Home" emergency order issued on March 19th, 2020, CAS is committed to remaining open on a limited basis for as long as we are able. CAS is an essential business (healthcare supplier) that provides social services to area residents and is therefore exempt from the order. We will continue to follow all applicable health protocols in our operating procedures to protect staff, clients and the community.

Equipment loans will be made on a reservation-only basis until further notice. No in-person services will be available without an appointment. Drive-thru pick up of reserved items will be schedule only on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9am - 4pm.

In order to request an appointement, clients may:

  • Call (626) 793-1696 and speak with a customer service representative

Once a completed application has been reviewed by staff, we will contact you with instructions about the pick-up procedure. Clients who show up at the CAS offices without an appointment will be directed to call or visit our website.

During this period, CAS will limit each family to TWO items, and as always, the borrower must live within our service area (CLICK HERE) Due to reduce staffing, CAS will not be providing hospital bed loans, but may be able to help coordinate the return of loaned beds. Please call for more information.

Donations and returns of medical equipment will still be accepted on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9am - 4pm.

In order for us to practice social distancing, PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL A CAS STAFF MEMBER CAN ASSIST YOU.

This is a developing situation and we will continue to provide updates on our website, main phone line and Facebook page when appropriate.

Thank you all for your understanding, patience and support.

Mark Waterson,
